Joining current Music Team - Mary George (Bells, Praise & Worship Coordinator), Phetsamone Ekholm (Praise & Worship accompanist), Jenn Gauwitz (Chancel Choir Accompanist), and Christine Walberg (Organist)

Part-Time (20 hours)

Salary TBD by experience and hours and responsibilities desired.

Reports to: Pastor Elise Pokel, Lead Pastor

· Collaborates/adds input with the pastoral staff for worship Leaders’ Guides and Communications Director on bulletins

· Meets quarterly with Music Team to plan next liturgical season together

· Directs the TLC Chancel Choir (adult singers)

· Selects music for the Chancel Choir that illumines the liturgical season and sacred texts.

· Re-starts & directs a Little Lutherans Choir to support our Sunday School programming and enrich our family and worship life together.

· Selects music for Little Lutherans that is accessible and joyful.

· Schedules occasional rehearsals for our Brass Ensemble (Reformation, Christmas, Easter) and Woodwinds Ensemble (Advent and Lenten Midweek Worship)

· Submits copyright information for music selections to Mary George for bulletins

· Assists the Music Team in updating the Worship Excel spreadsheet

· Select music from our current library or make suggestions for new music for Chancel Choir, Brass, and Woodwinds

· Assists the Music Team and pastoral staff in planning the Advent and Lenten Midweek services

· Supports volunteer Brass Co-Director, Chip Smith

· Coordinate the Christmas Program with pastoral staff and Music Team

Office hours: TBD with Lead Pastor and Personnel Committee

Sunday Worship – 9:30 AM

Choir Rehearsals – Wednesdays @ 7 PM (September-May)
