Position Title: Audio Tech Engineer
Accountable To: AV Tech Coordinator
Position Classification: Part-time, non-exempt hourly
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsibility for professional and accurate execution of all audio during worship services. Overseeing additional audio volunteers.
Set-up audio components for musicians, singers
Determine soundboard settings by leading a thorough sound check
Develop pre-sets for each regular ensemble (both scenes and individual channels)
With Sound Booth Coordinator, help record worship services / sermons for use on website
Provide microphone support for pastors / guest speakers as needed
Maintain knowledge of approved frequencies available for use
Design and oversee audio set-up for outdoor worship in the summer (TBD)
Advise Director of Worship and Music on audio / media purchases
Ability to work other special events is desired
QUALIFICATIONS:
Significant live sound knowledge and experience
Creative and strategic with the ability to work independently, as well collaboratively.
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time.
Gracious, positive and professional attitude

Work Hours
Sundays: Approx. 8am – 11am
Occasional seasonal mornings or evenings as needed
First call for weddings / funerals and other special events
