Position Title:  Audio/Visual Tech Coordinator 

Accountable To: Director of Worship and Music 

Position Classification: Part-time, non-exempt hourly


PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Accountability for professional and accurate execution of all audio, video and livestreaming during worship services. Overseeing additional AV Tech staff and volunteers.

  • Support set-up audio components for musicians, singers 

  • Training volunteer leaders and part-time staff on all aspects of the sound booth 

  • Be the first line support when a volunteer or staff member is not present 

  • Support the set-up of video functions that support worship (livestream, Youtube, etc) 

  • Support the recording of worship services / sermons for use on website 

  • Set up Livestreams for worship 

  • Working knowledge of Wirecast, YouTube, and other programs that support livestreaming and recording worship. 

  • Advise Director of Worship and Music on AV tech purchases 

  • Ability to work other special events is desired 


QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Significant live sound, video and livestream knowledge and experience 

  • Creative and strategic with the ability to work independently, as well collaboratively. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time. 

  • Gracious, positive and professional attitude

WORK HOURS

  • Sundays: Approx. 8am – 11am 

  • Occasional seasonal mornings or evenings as needed 

  • First call for weddings / funerals and other special events
